The 2010 Sounds of Liberty concert, which serves as the prelude to the fireworks display presented by the Carrollton Area Convention and Visitors Bureau at the campus of the Carrollton City Schools on July 4, will feature a performance by the Carroll Symphony Orchestra. The free concert will take place in front of Carrollton Elementary School at 8:15pm.

2010 Young Composer Competition

One of the goals of the Carroll Symphony Orchestra is to enrich the lives of children by exposing them to great music. In this spirit the CSO sponsors an annual Young Composer Competition, in which Conductor and Music Director Terry Lowry submits a theme to every elementary, junior high and high school music, band and chorus teacher in Carroll Country, as well as to area piano teachers.
